For the variable type project we got funding to experiment with linking phonology to variable typography. I wouldn’t say typography is my strong suite, and I spend most of my time working on

• Assigning a graph to different variables in a variable font that are changed by Phonetic Data from Praat, and making an interface to change the mapping and range of those linguistic values, so that you can change how the typography gets effected by it.
